Mya recently came to Merit after a desperate plea for rescue was made, a deaf dog in dire need. She was in boarding at Stokesdale Veterinary Hospital for three weeks before one of our volunteers was able to take her into foster care.

Siggy broke her elbow in a fall, but luck was on her side. With surgery, a well-placed pin, and 8 weeks of limited activity, she is expected to make a full recovery! Now that she's on the mend, it's time for us to pay the bills! Can you help?

Onyx was one of several dogs we have recently pulled from the Guilford County Animal Shelter. She is now at Heritage Animal Hospital.
