One Club. Three Causes. 24 hours of Rowing. Keeping two machines running for a whole day, we hope to raise money for Mountain Search and Rescue in the local area, The Pete Wake Trust, and the SJCBC Fund.
Due to the success of last years event, SJCBC has decided to make the erg challenge fundraiser an annual event! This year we are raising money for UNHCR, the Peter Wake Trust and the St John's Boat club fund.
St John's College boat club is challenging itself to row 500k in 40 hours to raise funds for a new 2nd VIII. Our current 2nd VIII boat has seen better days and desperately needs replacing so that the 2nd VIIIs and novice VIIIs can race competitively.
