SerTú: Organizational Activity

Mission:
To provide emotional support and healing to abused children and individuals discarded by society, offering them a safe space to be heard and understood. Our primary focus is to support children who have been victims of abuse, particularly in marginalized communities, by offering emotional guidance and empowering them with the strength to break the cycle of violence.

Key Activities:

1. Emotional Support Sessions:
   Offering free and low-cost sessions for individuals and families in need of emotional support, focusing on active listening, trauma recovery, and personal growth. These sessions are carried out by trained volunteers and professionals who have lived through similar struggles.

2. Child Abuse Recovery Program:
   A specialized program dedicated to children who have been sexually or physically abused. This program provides a safe environment for children to express themselves, receive counseling, and begin the healing process, all while protecting their confidentiality and dignity.

3. Community Outreach & Awareness Campaigns:
   Organizing campaigns to raise awareness about the issues of child abuse and the importance of emotional healing. We aim to educate local communities, schools, and authorities to recognize the signs of abuse and to take action. This outreach helps to reach those who might not have direct access to professional support.

4. Support for Families:
   Providing workshops for parents and guardians, equipping them with tools to recognize the signs of emotional trauma in their children and offering guidance on how to support their child’s recovery. We also offer family counseling to help mend relationships that have been affected by abuse.

5. Partnering with Schools and Local Organizations:
   Collaborating with schools, orphanages, and community centers to integrate our support programs, ensuring that children who are often overlooked receive the help they need. These partnerships help expand our reach to remote and underserved areas.
