Peninsula Veterans Lions Club and Habibi’s Salon have partnered to provide our Women Veterans with vouchers for hair dressing needs. The women are inpatients at the Veterans Hospital, the make-overs are intended to boost their morale and self-esteem.
The Peninsula Veteran's Lions Club is raising money to support one of our on-going projects. We provide free beauty make-overs to female Veteran's throughout the area who are transitioning back into society. Let's help those who served our Country.
Move-In Kits are made available to Veterans who are transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing. The majority of veterans do not have the resources to purchase the essentials when they first move in to their new home.
