About Our Foundation*
Inspired by a Boy Named Merlin
Inspired by the story of a remarkable neurodiverse boy born with an extra 47th X chromosome, My XXY, Klinefelter Awareness Foundation was established in 2020 in Tempe, AZ. Made possible thanks to a generous endowment by The Elsje Werner-Polak Memorial Fund**, our nonprofit has become one of the most trusted and effective charitable foundations supporting neurodiversity and other invisible conditions related to chromosome variations, working hard to raise awareness, improve lives and unlock futures.
Children, parents, educators and healthcare professionals can find up to date practical information here.
