Rotary is all about "Service Above Self" and enables people to do good without the need for recognition.  Most accomplishments by Rotary are behind the scenes and provide true happiness to people and organizations.  We aid where ever we find a genuine need, or by submitted applications to our club.  Every request is judged by how we can help, either financially or by providing a service project where time and labor is freely given. Some of the projects that our Rotary Club participate in are:

Boy Scout and Girl Scouts

Local Police and Fire

World wide project to eradicate Polio in conjunction with the Bill Gates Foundation

Child Advocacy agencies

YWCA and YMCA

Community Causes such as a playground for children with challenges

Community Playgrounds

Annual Community Activities such as Western Days (dunk tank to raise funds for local schools), Friends of the Library (Cook and distribute Hot Dogs)

Halloween community activities, local Pet Food Pantry filling bags with food to donate to people who cannot afford expensive pet foods

These are just a few activities that our club participates in on an annual basis.
