I almost lost my life to a rare neurological disorder called Transverse Myelitis in 2014.  It left me with some severe deficits.  Paralysis in my hands, pain, and spasticity, among other things.  In 2016 I was also diagnosed with MS. I lost my Golden Retriever, Rocket, days before I came home from a Rehab facility.  I lost my lab mix, Simba in April of 2015 to cancer.  My Chinese Crested powderpuff Joey saw me through the rest of my recovery.  He was my constant companion.  My niece gave me Roxxy in July 2020.  She was born with neurological problems but that never stopped her.  I don't have much of a social life and caring for my dogs made my life important to me.  Days after Roxxy turned 2 she had 2 seizures.  It got worse.  I believe that it is finally under control. But there is medications and bloodwork that have to be performed periodically.  I Lost my Joey on September 3, 2022,  He was 16 and it devastated me.  It is just not the same without him.  Loving a pet changes your life, losing them does the same.  Animals are important to me.  It is amazing how they can help with depression and healing.  Seeing Roxxy so ill has broken my heart.  She has been in the hospital so many times for such a young dog.  Trying to recover financially from the first two times and all the vet visits and then this.  I am hoping she is home soon.  I appreciate everyone who has donated.  If you can help please do.  If you can share I would also appreciate it.  Thank you!

Roxxy's Emergency Vet Bills

Roxxy is the sweetest dog. She was diagnosed with epilepsy in April of 2022. just days after her 2nd birthday. She was recently hospitalized again on July 1st. Roxxy means the world to me. Being disabled myself she has helped me continue my fight.

Please help me with Joey's surgery. He has helped me through rough times.

Our animals become so very important to us. My dog has been my emotional support through some very rough times. He needs me now but disability barely covers my basic living expenses. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
