The Lifeboat Network is a mobilization and education project initiated by Highgrove Farm and Commons. Our goal is to launch a fleet of 100 “lifeboats” — place-based resilience networks with the practical skills necessary to face an uncertain future.
We started a regenerative farm on a former clear cut with rocky soil, a new barn and not much else one month before the UN declared a global pandemic. Help us respond to the climate crisis by building an adaptive, resilient farm on Pender Island, BC.
