Hearts On Noses Sanctuary began with finding a little stray pig in February of 1993 who was named Willy pretty quickly. His roots never found but rooting he did . Over 83 pigs have found a forever home here and lived on a beautiful acreage with pasture and forests to explore, loved and as promised forever . Good food , fresh produce and treats of all kinds living in walk in sheds , with plenty of bedding became a village and sanctuary for pigs.

On September 11 I was emailed about two baby pigs running around starving who had been left abandoned. One of the breeds of Heritage Pigs being raised for meat , these two are a recognized pure breed called American Guinea Hogs .
