Give A Mile is a registered charity in Canada and the US that offers flights to connect people in palliative or critical care with their loved ones. We allow them to create moments and make memories that will live on.
Our Mission
To give the gift of a final goodbye by providing
flights for loved ones to be together during times of palliative or
critical illness.
Our Inspiration
Founder, Kevin Crowe, experienced the power of
a final goodbye during the passing of his good friend, Ryan
Westerman. In Ryan’s final days, both he and his close family and
friends were at peace knowing nothing had been left unsaid and
wished that more end of life experiences could unfold this way for
more people.

This flight was for a grandmother to fly from Halifax to Perth to be with her granddaughter Eliza who was diagnosed with a rare cancer. Despite chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy, they were given the devastating news this October that Eliza would be unlikely to survive until her 6th birthday in January. Your teamwork has allowed Grandmom to fly and be there until Eliza’s passing. I can tell you that Grandmom was in tears on the call when we let her know we have a flight for her. Attached are their photos, I hope all your hearts are full today for the amazing compassion you put into the world.
