Friends of Kingshill – Strategy 2024-2026

Vision
To enrich the Kingshill School offer by fostering a dynamic partnership between parents, teachers, and students. Through the collective efforts of our dedicated parent community, we aim to create an engaging and supportive environment that enhances the overall educational experience at Kingshill. Together, we will strive to empower our children, strengthen school programmes, and build a legacy of excellence that benefits all members of the school community.

Objectives – Build – Enhance – Generate - Promote
1. Build a Parent Community: Establish regular networking events, workshops, and online platforms to bring parents together, share resources, and provide mutual support in navigating their child's educational journey.

2. Enhance the School Curriculum: Utilise the diverse knowledge, skills, and experiences of parents to supplement the existing curriculum. Encourage parents to contribute to enrichment programmes, mentorship initiatives, and practical workshops for students.

3. Generate Funds for School Enhancement: Organise various fundraising activities such as events, sponsored challenges, team sponsorship and grant applications to raise funds for improving school facilities, providing additional resources, and offering support services to benefit the students.

4. Promote the Ethos of the School Community: Emphasise the importance of collaboration, inclusivity, and diversity within the school community. Encourage parents to actively participate in school events, volunteer for opportunities, and be part of the decision-making processes and maximise the talent and skills present in the parent body.
