Ensuring Parole for Incarcerated Citizens (EPIC) is a non profit 501 c3 organization based in Ohio that fights for fair laws and treatment of those who are formerly and currently justice impacted. We are a grassroots organization 'boots on ground' embracing, emapowering and educating those unware and providing for those affected by wrongful convictions, over sentencing, juvenile justice, and changing laws to help our people vs incriminating them.

 

We are also parntered with Abolish Slavery National Network- as their Ohio state team organizer- doing the work to #EndSlavery here in Ohio, and across the land. Our 13th amendment still allows modern day slavery through an exception clause that targets those 'punished for a crime' to be subject to involuntary servivtude- which is in fact a form of SLAVERY. We have an amazing #EndTheException coalition putting great work in across the states, even federally!
