The Dynamite Hill-Smithfield Community Land Trust (DH-SCLT) is a community-led 501c3 non-profit initiative to establish a Community Land Trust centered in the Historic Smithfield Community of Birmingham, Alabama.

     Named in honor of the legacy of social justice. thriving black entrepreneurship and property ownership, and social justice and civil rights activism that came from and protected the community from bombing and attacks.

     The DH-SCLT, with the assistance of allies, friends and community partners, will develop permanently affordable housing and home ownership opportunities, remodel existing homes, and build sustainable new construction, to support a sustainable cooperative community in Smithfield and provide community educational service centered in urban agriculture and agribusiness, sustainability and social justice.
