C.A.R.E. Africa's journey began in 2014 when two 14-year-olds, Success and Wale, approached ECWA Hospital Egbe, Nigeria with the intention of joining the temporary laborers revitalizing the hospital. However, upon recognizing their age, Construction Manager Lenny Miles intervened. Their motivation to work stemmed from the necessity to finance their schooling because their parents did not have the funds.

In Egbe, Nigeria, education holds paramount importance amidst limited job prospects. C.A.R.E. Africa was thus established to empower children through education and spiritual mentorship while prioritizing familial bonds. Over the past decade, C.A.R.E Africa has grown from a moment of compassion into a thriving community of about 80 children that are actively supported through the ministry, receiving educational assistance, mentorship, health and wellness, an essential resources. In addition, the ministry also set up a school (Foundations Academy) and opened it up to the larger community, the school now educates over 200 children and is growing every year.

C.A.R.E. Africa is helping to build a brighter and more hopeful future through tailored support programs, educational assistance, and vital resources, we aim to uplift families and nurture a brighter future for all.
