In developing countries, passionate astronomy enthusiasts create successful programs for STEM education, both in the classroom and for the public. This dedication is what makes a program successful and impactful.

But some products, such as telescopes and books, can be difficult to acquire. These small missing items have an impact when combined with the actions of local volunteers. A small telescope can transform an astronomy club that educates students and the public. Likewise, astronomy books can transform a dedicated teacher's classroom. Programs like these change lives.
