Black Cats & Old Dogs Animal Rescue is run purely through volunteers and fosters. We pull animals from high kill shelters in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, provide them with veterinary care and find them forever homes. We will not turn down an animal just because of its age, breed, or color!

BCOD commits to saving animals from shelters that are often refused by other rescues. We take in a great number of heartworm positive dogs that are usually avoided because of the cost and length of treatment. BCOD also takes in senior dogs and bully mixes, both which are hard to find homes for, but deserve to live out their lives in a loving home. Our animals are fully vetted, socialized, and kept in foster homes until we can find them a wonderful forever home.
