Berkshire Agricultural Ventures’ mission is to support the development and viability of local farms and food businesses in order to build a thriving and equitable local food economy. 

Berkshire Agricultural Ventures prides itself on our flexibility compared to traditional lending groups.

Our nimble services allow BAV to support and grow economic opportunities for for-profit and nonprofit entities. BAV meets entrepreneurs’ needs by offering comprehensive, one-on-one, technical and business assistance, flexible financing options including grants, low-interest loans, and other resources. In addition to these core services BAV has developed targeted programs that address pressing issues in the agricultural sector.

Our services are available to farmers and food makers in the Berkshire-Taconic region of: Berkshire County, MA; Columbia and Dutchess Counties, NY; and Litchfield County, CT.
