Aurora Impact Foundation is a Canadian nonprofit organization advancing women’s rights, wellbeing, dignity, leadership and access to justice.

Through locally grounded partnerships, Aurora develops and supports initiatives that strengthen safety, resilience, confidence, agency and community leadership—particularly for women and girls experiencing trauma, inequality and systemic barriers.

Aurora is the lead organization behind The Imara Initiative, a collaborative women’s resilience and leadership initiative launching in Arusha, Tanzania. Working alongside RACAS Foundation and Martial Arts for Justice, and using the Enhanced Resilience Training™ methodology, the initiative is designed to create sustainable, locally led impact.

Aurora believes lasting change is created when women are supported not only as participants, but as leaders capable of carrying strength, knowledge and opportunity forward within their communities.
