🇺🇸 The Educar para a Paz Association was born from the inspiring journey of Edson Maciel, a former professional soccer player. After a health crisis at 20 years old abruptly ended his promising career, Edson dedicated his life to a new purpose: transforming lives through sport and education.

Having been involved in social projects for 28 years, and formally established as an NGO ten years ago, the Association daily serves over 200 children and teenagers in Curitiba. Driven by immense love, faith, and commitment, we offer educational workshops, soccer training, and talks, using sport as a powerful tool for social inclusion, development, and fostering a future of hope and peace.
