Firstly, our landlord has abruptly decided to not renew our lease, forcing us to find a new place to live. We have been struggling with the unbearable heat as our landlord refused to fix our air conditioning system throughout the entire summer. Despite having two window units, the temperature indoors remains suffocating and unbearable for our family.

Additionally, we have been burdened with a broken-down car. After waiting for over a month, the mechanic provided an incorrect diagnosis, charging us an unnecessary fee of $100. This has left us without a reliable means of transportation, making it even more challenging to find suitable housing and attend to our other responsibilities.

Apart from these circumstances, my husband has encountered legal difficulties that have added to our financial burdens. Due to mistakes made in the past, he had to face time in jail, during which his child support payments were not halted. The court mandated an exorbitant amount of $1100 a month, and unfortunately, he was recently let go from his job at the United States Postal Service due to a background check discrepancy. This unforeseen setback has led him to face felony child support charges, further worsening our already precarious situation.

As the deadline for our move-out approaches, we find ourselves with nowhere to go. Our savings have been exhausted, and the accumulating debts have created a sense of hopelessness. The thought of our daughter starting school next week and not having a stable living situation weighs heavily on our hearts, as we only wish to provide a peaceful and nurturing environment for our children. We believe in teaching them the values of respect, kindness, and compassion, and we strive to create a better future for them.
