America is at a historic cross road in which our nation can spiral to deeper depths of despair or arise to new heights of hope . The American people can forge relationships with each other that are authentic and genuine . Not because we agree on everything but because we value the life of each person who has been created by God - regardless of our pigmentation. With God’s grace we can embrace a future filled with hope or be controlled by the history of our unrighteous past. A past in which we all are guilty, we all have fallen short and have missed the mark of being perfect before God and one another.
Poets for America has a mandate, a call, and a responsibility to capture the realness of the moment with a new poem written that day, and to speak to our pain while also inspiring hope, infusing unity and offering heartfelt expressions of love, righteous anger and resolve to rise to the moment in our history in which heroes are made and victories are won.
What's the Money For?
We need your support to become a reality. With your support, a transportation means will be gotten that will enable us travel throughout America without skipping even a city. Your support also will help make food, and other human beneficiaries, gasoline for the travel coach and final compilation of the poets and literature available and ready. Nothing is too small. The vision is to share each new poem on social media while also hosting small and big rally’s across cities and towns where other poets, community leaders, civic leaders, pastors and people from every denomination, religion and ethnicity are able to speak forth words of hope, love and unity or to simply receive them.

The Books
We are provoking other Americans to write the heart of God through poetry. If selected poets who submit their poems could be included in our book, posted on our website, produced in our videos. They could also be selected to join us on our tour to read their poem.
