At PINC Foundation, we are on a mission to improve cancer outcomes by promoting early detection, patient advocacy, and awareness, especially among young adults who are too often overlooked.

PINC stands for “Prove It’s Not Cancer,” a powerful message inspired by Katelyn Walker, who passed away from breast cancer at just 25 years old. Her experience showed us how important it is for people of every age to understand their bodies, recognize warning signs, ask questions, and advocate for further testing when something does not feel right.

Every day, we work to educate individuals and families about the importance of early cancer detection. Through school and college outreach, community events, educational materials, health fairs, patient resources, and partnerships with healthcare professionals, we encourage people to take symptoms seriously and seek answers without delay.

But we cannot do this work alone. We need your help to continue expanding our programs and reaching more young adults, families, and underserved communities throughout San Diego County.
