Book: "Johnny -Canada's Greatest Bomber Pilot"

Air Commodore John Fauquier DSO and 2 Bars DFC was Canada's most decorated airman and its leading bomber pilot during World War II, flying at least 93 combat operations. The Bomber Command Museum of Canada published his biography in 2018. 'Johnny' did it all during his flying career as a bush pilot, flying instructor, bomber pilot, squadron commander, pathfinder, master bomber, base commander, and finally leading the legendary 617 'Dambusters' Squadron as they dropped Grand Slams on Nazi targets. Donations are requested to help build a full-size replica of the ‘Grand Slam’ (22,400 pound) bomb to complement our museum's replicas of the 'Upkeep' (Bouncing Bomb) and 'Tallboy' weapons. We'll be able to place it in the bomb-bay during special events.
