we all live here's founder Rich Alapack visited Oak Terrace Elementary and conducted an assembly with all of our students. During the assembly, the students all illustrated their personal meanings for each of the four words in "WE ALL LIVE HERE." Rich then used their drawings as inspiration to design a we all live here @ Oak Terrace Elementary logo.

🌎 Many students drew the earth as depicted in blue and green
crayon. 🔤 We honored our dual language school with both English and Spanish translations of the positive and inclusive phrase. |
| This group exercise was meant to teach all of our students this positive and inclusive mantra. Our school will now be able to use the logo on exclusive limited availability merchandise that we can sell to raise the funds to bring some interactive murals or WALHs to our campus. New Mural Facing the Playground: Every student will paint a magnetic butterfly shape so that their artistic expression, creativity, and personality is included in the final mural. The magnetic butterfly shape has been carefully designed so that they can always be rotated 90 degrees and attach to all the other butterflies allowing us to tile a plane in the shape of a giant Monarch Butterfly. Once their butterfly art has dried, each student will bring their butterfly outside and Rich will put them all together to form the giant buttefly before adding some finishing touches like the positive and inclusive phrases this mural is meant to represent. This also helps the students to have ownership of the mural. Please help support the creation of this all-school project by purchasing the merchandise listed on this site.
