Mission Statement
Investing in equipping schools of the Ethiopian
Kale Heywet Church to educate students in the digital age with
computers, screens, audio equipment, training and support. This
project will empower the teachers and enhance the learning potential
of the students to be the leaders of tomorrow, and to leave a
long-term impact on future
Assessment of Need
The Ethiopian Ministry of Education has determined that due to the lack of educational quality in the public schools, it has drafted a Roadmap for Education. In the last university entrance exams of the senior class, only 3% of all students passed the test nationally. This is due to outdated teaching methods and text books in public schools.
Project Definition
We are prioritizing computers with downloaded curriculum in 4 high schools with 23 classrooms in 2024 and 35 senior primary schools (Grades 7-8) with 79 classrooms and e-Learning centers for the remaining four years starting 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 for Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church (EKHC) schools.
