A graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Kane Patron has been working in the human services field since he received his credentials from Mercyhurst University. He is also projected to receive a degree from Notre Dame University in the spring.
Kane started his journey with the Erie Blue Coats at Erie High School while coaching wrestling for the royals. Kane has facilitated both behavioral health and substance abuse programs with stops at LECOM, Bethesda, Pennsylvania Anti-Drug, and multiple rehabilitation centers before taking over one of the biggest family homeless shelters in Pennsylvania. Recently, Kane has led the most effective homeless outreach program in Erie County.
In his free time, he volunteers his time as a board chair for “Harvest 912” and as the President of the “Kiwanis Club of Erie”. Kane also finds pride serving in the Pennsylvania National Guard and on the governing board for The Home Team of Erie County as an advocate for homeless youth.
Kane lives in Erie with his wife, Chloe and their two sons, Kolten and Kash.
