Imagine being a young adult and wanting to make your way in life and building your independence.  Now imaging your mental health is holding you back.  Imagine even more so an employer not supporting you with your invisible disability.  I see so often people being turned down for work or being let go due to their mental health.  

IDSOMERSET has been set up to open a retail outlet that will enable people who need a step on the ladder employment wise.

Often when you are at your lowest you may find it hard to get out of bed, let alone go to work.  To top off that you find out your employer classes you as unreliable.  That will only exasperate the issues.

Now imagine an employer who understands the issues you face in a daily basis, an employer who is willing to support you, an employer who won’t dismiss you for having a bad day.

That is what IDSOMERSET aims to do.  By opening a geeky gaming, TV memorabilia store that will build on strengths of its employee’s.  Working with those who want to work but find it hard to maintain employment.
