In 2018 Halos had a very productive year.
58 Cases- 47 Found Safe- 4 Found Deceased- 7 still active going into 2019.
what we have found is most of the time these children never get the help needed for the trauma they have been through. They are many times place in detention centers, group homes, foster care, and get lured back into the darkness feeling that’s where their worth is.
Our dream and goal is to open Halos House, a Safe House, where children rescued can get the help they need, many are afraid or ashamed to go back to school, they need their education. We know this fundraiser won’t be all that’s needed but it’s a huge beginning to a reality that is so needed everywhere.
Halos Youth Empowerment Program gifts Scholarships in memory of our children Found Deceased.
2019 we will be gifting two headstones for one of our 14 year old girls found murdered and her mother who just recently passed and never got to see justice for her child or even a headstone.
As you can see we are busy. We are launching Halos Voice The Movement Nationwide addressing what our children are going through and the importance of online safety. We will be addressing the multitudes of our children being bullied, needing help. The rise in teen and pre-teen suicide, and the epidemic of child trafficking and Exploitation.
Our children need a place of hope, healing and compassion for the unthinkable trauma they have endured.
