Merrill Middle School Annual Giving Campaign 2021-22
Welcome to the 3rd Merrill Middle School Annual Giving Campaign!
Just like the campaigns you’re used to in elementary school, the Merrill Middle School Annual Giving Campaign raises funds from Merrill families and the local community in order to support Merrill’s programming, fill funding gaps, and provide enrichment and academic support that falls outside the standard district budget.
Our goal this year is to raise $70,000!
Your support will help fund:
- New newline boards in the classrooms. Those old prometheum boards are dying (they are over 12 years old!). It's time to replace them with the latest technology. Newline boards are like large iPad screens for teachers making educational visual aids all the more accessible and dynamic for lesson support. We have already replaced 12, and need 20 more!
- Updating our STEM lab. Our STEM lab is so 2015. Yes, they fall out of date that fast! We are working with the district technology department to determine what new equipment and curriculum is needed to bring our lab into the 2020's and need your support to bring it to life.
- Refurnishing our classroom and flexible spaces. Think new desks, ergonomic and dynamic seating, and overall better room flow.
- Departmental Resource Support. Instruments for band kids in need, Spanish games and apps, additional math resources, classroom supplies. These are all examples of items that are not covered by the district, but that contribute to a more dynamic, engaging, fun learning experience. The PTSA is looking to provide a budget to each department to support them in acquiring resources that bolster and enrich our kids' learning.
Please give! We ask that you give as generously as you can until March 26th (before spring break)! Together, we can reach our goal!

- Please include a phone number and email with all cash and check donations in order to receive a receipt for tax purposes.
