Currently, Shelter Ugolyok is a safe vegan sanctuary in Ukraine for many helpless animals in need. In fact, Ugolyok provides shelter for more than 105 horses, 93 cows, 5 foals, 34 calves, 46 goats, 72 dogs, 12 cats, 3 donkeys, 32 sheep, and 8 ponies. Everything has been nothing short of amazing for Shelter Ugolyok, at least until unexpected times of warfare erupted in our region of the country. Our Patreon is far from keeping the whole mission safe, though may be with time it will reach help that is so needed but now situation is depressing.
To feed all our fosterlings is also important, as well as saving them from the butchers. And trust me they eat a lot!
This month we need to raise $16400 to cover current debts and maintain the mission safe and animals fed and healthy. I can no longer borrow further.
Our mission maintains huge number of animals. For example, only 95 horses consume more than 2 tons of hay per day. Not talking of straw and grain mix!
And we have not only horses. Cows, sheep, ponies, donkeys, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, birds etc.
