Are you interested in supporting your future generation of nurses on the frontlines? Looking to support a good cause & in a giving spirit this holiday season? Well look no further! This year, the uOttawa-Algonquin (Woodroffe) stream nursing students are fundraising money to host a pinning ceremony for our graduating class of 2025! All money donated through this fundraiser will go towards preparing and organizing for our ceremony that will be held in June 2025. Examples of how this money could be used include:

• booking a venue for the pinning ceremony & post-ceremony celebration 
• refreshment catering 
• professional photography for the ceremony
• extra goodies for the graduating nurses 

So you might be wondering: “What is a pinning ceremony?” A pinning ceremony is a traditional event held in addition to many nursing schools’ official graduation ceremonies. A special nursing pin is donned onto a nursing student’s clothing symbolizing their transition from student to professional nurse entering the field.Donors are welcome to leave a comment if they wish or let us know who they're supporting :)  Please feel free to share our page with any friends, family or co-workers - especially those who live far away and will not be able to attend our ceremony in-person.
