Pumba is a smart and friendly boy with such a personality. 3 weeks ago this sweet 4-month-old puppy had an inguinal abscess rupture. We rushed him to the vet and got it treated. Everything seemed good until this week. He stopped eating and took on a pot-bellied look while losing weight as well. Tonight he was back at the emergency vet and had to have emergency surgery for a severe peritonitis. It turned out that the inguinal abscess had actually ruptured inside as well and filled his abdominal cavity with infected fluid. There was no way for us to know. He is now fighting for his life as he is being treated for sepsis. He has a good yet guarded prognosis as long as he can continue receiving care. His medical bills are quite High and we could really use some help so that we can give him the time he needs to overcome this. Pumba has come a long way from being found on the streets of a village fending for himself and he really deserves all that life has to offer him. Help us give him this second chance.
