Motive International, LLC hasn't added a story.
Justin Shilling, 17, was shot at point-blank range after being told by the by the shooter to get on his knees. Hana St. Juliana, 14, was shot a second time after she was down, “to finish the job by shooting her again.”
Teenager Ethan Crumbley was the shooter. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole for gunning down four classmates and wounding six others and a teacher at Michigan’s Oxford High School in 2021. He shot most people multiple times. And, as he wrote, he did this for notoriety; he wanted to go down as the "biggest school shooter in Michigan history.”
There were 656 mass shootings in the US killing and wounding children and adults in our schools and communities last year. It is a fact that many of these sick and twisted mass shooters are seeking attention and infamy.
After the Uvalde, Texas school shooting where 19 children and two adults were killed, Elon Musk scolded the media for giving attention to mass shooters, saying the exhaustive coverage played into their twisted motives. "Regarding recent events, the shooters are obviously doing this to generate the most amount of attention possible, “Musk wrote according to CNBC. "Why is the media doing exactly what the mass murderers want?"
It's time to fight back!
We are not powerless to let this happen again and again on our watch.
It’s actually quite simple; we take their need for media coverage and use it against them. We do not let them be seen in media as the notorious killers they see themselves as, but as the pathetic, despicable and evil pieces of crap that they are.
How? We seize the narrative... our nation-wide media campaign commandeers one of the most offensive insults in our language and labels any mass shooter a “shithead”. We relentlessly campaign for all media, social media and popular culture to refer to them as “shitheads” preceding their name whenever they are mentioned.
It's time to do something.
We are launching the “NO SHITHEADS” national media campaign to sign up everyone to fight back! The campaign recruits celebrity spokespeople, influencers, news media, outlets, corporations, journalists and the law enforcement community to condemn mass shooters as shitheads.
Language is powerful and we have a huge stage. We mainstream the NO SHITHEADS Campaign with videos and ad spots, billboards, celebrity public service announcements along with decals, shirts and hats. We will be letting any would-be shooter know that we all stand together to shame them as the sick cowards they are and put them forever in the “Shit-for-Brains Hall of Fame”.
This is a way to help stop mass shootings that everyone can agree on. It is not about left or right politics and it’s not about gun rights… It’s about stopping sick and twisted shitheads from killing kids, our neighbors and us.
This campaign will save lives.
