2 Years running

Kappa Delta Sorority has been a member of the San Jose State University Greek community for 61 years, since it opened on February 4, 1957.

For all of those 61 years, Kappa Delta has never owned its own Chapter house, and currently is the only sorority at SJSU that doesn't have a house. Women from each decade have tried in their own ways to achieve this dream, but have never been able to make it happen!

For the last four years we have worked to raise the funds needed to build our very own house, specific to the needs of our Chapter members so that they have a safe, fun and affordable place to live while students at SJSU and members of Kappa Delta.

Now we are closer than ever and only need another $175,000 to reach our final Construction Funding requirement needed to start construction on our new house!

If we can raise the rest of the $175,000 by the end of April, we will start construction in May and be able to open our house in time for the 2018-19 school year just one year from now!

Our Building Plans are complete and ready to go, our contractor is ready to start digging and building - we just need the rest of the funds to finish funding the down payment! Will you help us get there in time?

We would be so appreciative for any help we can get to reaching this goal!
