Hello from Dominic,

I am a special needs bunny at Helicopter Ears: I had dental issues my whole life, which is why I was abandoned and nearly put to sleep in the past, and lately, I have been plagued with sinus problems too. Last year, I began struggling to breathe because of the pus in my nose. I had many diagnostics and eventually a CT scan which pinpointed my exact problem. Then I had an operation to clean my sinus and flush the pus. I now have to have nebuliser inhalations three times a day, which helps to delay the return of my sinus problem, put off another operation or maybe even avoid it altogether. I looked like a wounded seal and breathed through a hole in my head like a dolphin for a while. Yep. Let’s try to avoid that if we can, shall we?

I am the happiest bunny. I enjoy my life, my wife and my bananas every day, and all this is thanks to you. Without you, I would not even have life. As a bunny, I don’t have any funds of my own, and Helicopter Ears would never be able to afford the care a bunny like me requires—few people would on their own. But together we can do it!

This fundraiser is to pay for two months of my mucolytic medication and for my appointment with my vet at RVC in London which I have booked next Wednesday. I count on you, and anything you can spare towards my care goes towards one sick bunny’s enjoyment of life and bananas.
