Theatre... dance... music... art... poetry... cultural exchange... we've missed the in-person gatherings that have made the last twenty five years of VAHMS and explorASIAN so special. We wish more than anything that we could gather to enjoy a beautiful work of art or engage in a vibrant conversation over a sumptuous meal, but we're not there yet.
As we approach explorASIAN 2021, our 25th Anniversary, we are faced with holding our annual Recognition Awards Ceremony virtually once again. While we are more than happy to share this evening of programming with you for free, doing so means we are losing our only fundraising event for the second year in a row.
So we are asking for your support. All our festival programming is free and open to the public - and we like it that way - but if you are in a position to make a financial contribution to VAHMS and explorASIAN Festival, we are hoping that you can do so between now and June 11. If in the past you attended our Recognition Awards Gala, we humbly suggest that you pledge $70, the price of one seat, or perhaps $630, the cost you paid then for a table of ten. Feel free to contribute any other amount you deem appropriate. We are tremendously grateful for your support.
