Everyone Deserves a Place on the Ice
Hockey is more than a game. It creates friendships, builds confidence, and gives people a community where they can feel seen, supported, and accepted.
But the cost of registration can prevent players and teams from participating—even when they are ready and eager to join the ice.
The Everyone Plays Fund is Seattle Pride Hockey Association’s year-round financial assistance program. Through the generosity of community members, friends, families, and supporters, the fund helps reduce registration costs for eligible participants across SPHA tournaments, leagues, training opportunities, and travel programs.
Your contribution creates an opportunity
Donors may support:
- A specific SPHA program
- An eligible player or team
- The general Everyone Plays Fund, allowing SPHA to direct assistance where it is needed most
A gift does not need to cover an entire registration to make a difference. Every contribution—large or small—moves someone closer to participating.
When you fund a spot, you are doing more than helping pay a registration fee. You are helping someone enter a locker room, meet new teammates, build confidence, and become part of an inclusive hockey community.
How the fund works
Players and teams seeking assistance may submit a confidential funding request to SPHA. Awards are based on demonstrated need, available funding, and the requirements of each program.
Donors may indicate a preferred participant, team, or program when contributing. All gifts are administered by SPHA in accordance with the Everyone Plays Fund guidelines so assistance can be distributed responsibly and equitably.
