ABOUT ELEVATION HOUSE
Elevation House is a program for adults living with mental illness. Our mission is to:
End social and economic isolation for adults living with serious mental illness.
Recovery is accomplished through an evidenced-based psychosocial rehabilitation model that has been utilized for 70 years in over 300 Clubhouses around the world. Elevation House is an intentional work community. The opportunity to be a part of a community in which each member can find purpose is restorative ensuring that members:
- Build dignity and self-esteem,
- Regain confidence,
- Develop healthy relationships,
- Learn new skill sets, and
- Achieve progress towards employment and educational goals.
Members work in one of two work units within Elevation House: Clerical and Culinary. Each unit is essential to the operations of the house.
Elevation House operates a variety of programs to support recovery and inspire dreams:
- Employment- Transitional, Supportive and Independent
- Supported Education
- Health & Wellness
- Housing Support
- Socials
Elevation House’s programs are proven to reduce hospitalizations and incarcerations.
Considering that 1 in 5 people will be personal impacted by mental illness in a given year and 1 in 13 will experience serious mental illness such as Schizophrenia or Bipolar Disorder, the need for our services is great. To meet this great need, we opened our doors in June of 2019. As a new non-profit, we need people like you to invest in the lives of our members. Membership is free for our members. The cost to the organization is $5,000 annually; the same amount as average cost of two days of hospitalization in the United States.
Our 2019 Strategic Growth Plan calls for us to welcome 25 new members to Elevation House. To fund this plan we must secure $125,000 in donations from our community. As a result we launched our annual campaign- Elevation125. Now through October 12th we are asking donors like you to make an investment into our mission and help us elevate lives by selecting one of the following giving options:

Employment Programs $ 1,250 annually OR $ 105/ month

Socials & Holidays $ 250 annually OR $ 25/ month
