Help us purchase Garmin Watches and other equipment for the CLHS Cross Country team so they can train more effectively!
Sometimes while running longer distances, we tend to slow
down. Those silent thoughts in our head begin to whisper “slow down,
this hurts”, and grows to a loader voice that tries to limit our
potential. We can combat that with Garmin watches that through
satellite GPS will show the mile pace we’re running and can hold
ourselves accountable.
Cross Country races are often on golf courses or in open fields
where there aren’t laps like a track to stay on pace.
These kids can see their pace on the watch, either slow down or
speed up, most often the later, while practicing or in a race. It’s
like them taking Coach San Miguel on every run with them!

Striped Sunshine Initiative dba 8300 FOR THE HAWKS is an independent nonprofit owned by the Eastland Family. All monies donated through this fundraiser (minus any credit card fees assessed by Stripe and/or Fundrazr) will be used to purchase Garmin Watches & other equipment which will then be donated to the CLHS Cross Country Team.
