The problem with Vietnam's education system
Only 28% of Vietnamese teenagers can enroll in higher education programs (university or higher), one of the lowest rate in South East Asia region - due to the ridiculously high tuition fee.
Therefore,
almost 34% of families couldn't afford tuition fees, and 51% of
students have work several part-time jobs in order to secure enough
cash for studying.
Finsey is found to tackle this problem
We are Finsey (finsey.net), a group of young individuals that aim to enhance the local education system by providing affordable loans (around 6% - 7% interest rate p.a) so that the students can repay their tuition fee after graduation, No credit score is required like banks - since 90% of students don't have one.
We only charge a very small interest rate to keep our employees working and also provide additional upskilling and job-career mentorship services for ocal students - for a better future.

In order to make this project successful, we have a team with different backgrounds, from Engineer to Non-Profit members. We're all people that suffered from the high tuition fee problem.
For instance, Thang - Our CTO, didn't have money to go to any university or college, he had to spend 3 years working in a local Lotteria in order to have cash to pay for his short-term IT courses. Or Dinh, CEO, used to live in a family that only have enough cash to pay for food, he funded his university program by taking a loan from a local bank, which takes hundreds of steps to process.
