The Vitalia Family and the Kimmerle Family Charitable Trust, with our entire team, are working with Larry Goodman, Head of School at Andrews Osborne Academy (AOA), to support one of the school’s greatest international students’ outreach programs. Last year alone, they had students from 27 different countries living on campus. More specifically, Andrews Osborne Academy has a rich history of Ukrainian students attending their school. At this time, however, the war that is ravaging the region has destabilized the Ukrainian economy, making it extremely difficult for families to afford to send their children to AOA.
AOA is fully committed to helping students from Ukraine attend their school in this time of crisis. Larry has shared with us that the cost of attending AOA as a boarding student can be broken into two main components:
- Academic costs (tuition) - $27,453/student
- Boarding costs - $32,580/student
The school has already decided to cover 100% of the academic costs and 40% of the boarding costs for each student. To cover the remaining costs for the three Ukrainian children, the school has established the Ukrainian Scholarship Fund to raise $60,000 or $20,000 per boarding student. The Vitalia Family, and the Kimmerle Family Charitable Trust are supporting this effort and have already committed $20,000 to the Fund. We would like to encourage our network of friends, colleagues, and business partners to contribute.
