Keep Mehrgan Library Alive – A Home for Persian Literature

It all began on May 31, 2022, when Mahsa loaned out her personal collection and community-donated books through meetups across the city. By September 14, 2022, with the support of the Medad media group, Mahsa and her friends founded Mehrgan first physical space. With over 5,000 books and 500 members, it has since grown into a vital resource for the Persian-speaking community.

Mehrgan Library is an independent, non-profit initiative that provides:
📚 Book lending – from novels and history to psychology and cinema.
👶 Children’s books – helping parents nurture Persian language skills.
🆕 Essential books for newcomers – including dictionaries and driving test guides.
📦 Book circulation services – lending books temporarily without permanent donations.
🛍️ Book ordering – bringing Persian books at affordable costs.
📖 Book reservations – making access easy for busy readers.
