Getting vital aid to Ukraine this February
My name is David Thompson and this February I will be joining a cross-party humanitarian mission to deliver much-needed aid to Ukraine - and I need your support to raise £5,000!
The aim is to deliver vehicles and medical supplies directly into Kyiv and into the hands of those that need it most. Every £ you contribute goes directly to more kit and equipment, as we are funding our own travel.
That means more utility vehicles for us to leave behind in Ukraine, alongside generators to help combat the winter cold, trauma kits, dressings, blankets PPE and other medical equipment - all things that those on the ground are struggling to get hold of through stretched Ukrainian supply lines.
The mission will kick off from Cardiff, led by a group of Welsh Senedd members, before arriving in West Malling ahead of its 2,300km journey from Calais to Kyiv.
This winter our friends in Ukraine need all the support they can get, so I'd be very grateful for any donation - big or small - to this important cause.
