Getting vital aid to Ukraine

My name is David Thompson and in February I took oart in  a cross-party humanitarian mission to deliver much-needed aid to Ukraine.

We handed over vehicles and medical supplies directly to our Ukrainian contacts in Kyiv, placing it in the hands of those that need it most. Every £ contributed went directly to more kit and equipment, as we  funded our own travel.

That meant more utility vehicles for us to leave behind in Ukraine, alongside generators to help combat the winter cold, trauma kits, dressings, blankets PPE and other medical equipment - all things that those on the ground are struggling to get hold of through stretched Ukrainian supply lines.

BUT THERE IS STILL MORE TO DO! And still time to donate.

Senedd4Ukraine are planning further missions later this year, taking more supplies out to Ukraine to sustain their ability to continue.

Any money donated over the coming months will be ploughed into vehicles and supplies for convoys leaving in the summer and the autumn.

But until then, Slava Ukraini! And thank you for your generosity and support!
