We Need Your Support to Keep Going
Our shelter is facing one of the hardest challenges in its
history. The land we are on has been sold, and we must move out by
November 30th. Thankfully, we have now found a new place for our dogs
- However, the new place need repairs and improvements to make them
safe and comfortable and we've already started working hard to make
this happen. This comes with many unexpected costs, and we urgently
need your help to cover them.
On top of this, we also lost a government grant of around
€6,000 this year. To receive it, we were asked to sign a statement
agreeing to take in dogs confiscated by the government veterinary
services — regardless of our resources. We couldn’t sign, not because
we don’t care, but because we care too much to be reckless. It was the
right decision, but it left us with an even bigger gap to cover.
We need your help now more than ever. Every euro goes directly
to repairs, food and medical care for the dogs who depend on us.
