When you support NAET, you support traditional Native sports, culture, cuisine and history in the Chequamegon Bay region of Lake Superior, and a corridor of clean air, water and resources across Northern Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

In 2022 we started are island work and NAET, with support from regional environmental organizations hosted educational events while celebrating clean-water, a summer dug-out canoe project, with 150+ people putting their hands on it, "Listen to the Water" / Red Man's Market, Art Shows, Treaty Day demonstrations with historic Indigenous cuisine, lacrosse games and a winter time Snow Snake Festival - near Valentine's Day each year. Our organization participates in the Coalition Communities United by Water and conducts educational outreach that help hold accountable our public permitting agencies.

2025 Projects Your Donation will Support - $10,000   

       # Madeline Island Flicker House Indigenous Cultural Center.
                  (Rehabilitation of the island "Flicker House Educational Center" - New Roof)
      # Music For The Water - Redman's Market & Rendezvous -  July 2025.
      # Communities United by Water, web and water protection educational activities.
      # Treaty Days, lacrosse, traditional art, music and market demonstrations September 30th annually.
