Hello!
We are UCF Club Baseball, a student ran team who competes in both the D1 and D2 levels in the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA). The D1 team competes in the South Atlantic-South Conference and the D2 team competes in the Dixie-South Conference with both teams playing against some of the top ranked teams in the country. Nationally, D1 currently ranks #9 and D2 ranks #18.
The Knights are coming off two very successful 2018 season where both the D1 and D2 teams reached their respected Regional Championship game; just one game away from their NCBA World Series! Last year was D2's first season as a team, so coming as far really made the entire NCBA aware of our abilities. In 2017, the D1 team reached all the way to the World Series Championship game and fell short of winning a national title by one run in extra innings. This year, we are bringing back a lot of players from last year's D1 and D2 teams as well as added several new faces that have already started to make a name for themselves as some of the best players in the country. In total, we have over 45 players!
Since we are a student ran organization, fundraising plays a critical role in making sure we are able to travel for series, pay for umpires, hotels, league dues, etc. since we cannot complete a season based solely on the funds the school gives us.
100% of the fundraised money will be used directly for funding the club for the remainder of the 2019 season. This includes league dues, umpires, field rentals, travel expenses, and equipment. Everything is currently being paid for out of pocket by our players; however, it will not be enough to complete the season.
For this reason, we ask that you please consider donating to our program! We do not have a minimum amount, but view any donation with much appreciation! If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please simply share our page to spread our message so that we can hopefully reach our goal and set us up for a successful season.
