My name is Janae Stephens. I started this campaign to help Zion Children’s Orphanage (ZCO) in Uganda, a registered Non-Government Organization (reg# 11903). I was introduced to ZCO last year and realized that they are an organization doing much needed work and were underfunded - struggling to pay for food and rent and medical services for the people they are serving. They help vulnerable children, the youth - especially young mothers, widows, the elderly and p ersons with disabilities.
Th mission of Zion Children’s Orphanage is to provide standard education and medical care to orphans, who they try to place with supporting parents or guardians. They also provide and support families (children and their parents) with food and also engage them in agricultural programs so they can support themselves.
They are dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and families in rural Ugandan communities . Zion Children’s Orphanage (ZCO) has been operating for some time and gives hope to many orphans that would otherwise have no hope at all.
Their care and support of orphaned and vulnerable children includes feeding them, raising funds for their school fees, giving them basic medical health care and giving them moral support and guidance.
As a non-profit based in Uganda,
