Hello from Michelle and Happy New Year everyone!
For me it's now a very dry January as I'm raising money for Helicopter Ears Rescue, where, as you may know, I regularly volunteer.
Helicopter Ears rescue provides care and retirement for chronically ill and disabled small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and rats. They work closely with other rescues and vets to provide care and veterinary treatment for non-rehomeable (ill and disabled) animals, and find first-class homes for healthy animals in their care, as well as promote welfare and care standards of small animals around the world.

And, to show you just what fantastic work we do at Helicopter Ears, I've included a video of Mr Buttons himself, taking out for the first time his custom-made hand-sown bunny-boots for their first outing. Mr Buttons then had sore bleeding legs from being kept in unsuitable conditions before he arrived at Helicopter Ears. He later developed a disability resulting from his prior confinement and chronic infections, which are now managed and treated at Helicopter Ears. He seldom takes his boots out these days.
