The Inspire Kids Club needs our greater community to support us in offering more non-profit programs to the Rogue Valley youth this coming year!

Over the last three years Inspire Kids and A Streetcar Named Inspire have offered arts, music, story telling and more to the Southern Oregon children and their families.

We beleive ‘It takes a child to raise a village’.  We are listening to the youngest members of our community to direct our actions towards a happier more sustainable future!

We are coming back to the basics of learning through play and artistic expression.

This is community building from the core, as we harness the power of the creative youth.  With your support we will be able to offer more and more to our communites future leaders.

This looks like,

*Mentoring programs between all ages of children and adults. 'CommuniTea' time (where members of the greater community share their lives work and inspirations with the kids.

*Daily practice building: meditation, yoga, breath work, chi gong, dance…

*Arts and creative story telling: Painting, pottery, sewing, leather work, carving, all woven into a mythic story where each person is encouraged to be their brightest self, expressing their gifts and being received.

*Service projects around the community…helping with gardening, cooking, cleaning and organizing and sharing song or theater with schools and elderly centers.

*Lifestyle arts: kitchen literacy, compassionate communication and team building, feng shui and the joys of organization.

*Youth Council: where they express their deepest desires for collaboration, celebration, projects and adventure. We find ways to implement their feedback and help them feel received and important.

This group of young Jedis will become our council for future Inspire Kids projects. We will learn to listen more clearly. Passionately serving them as the true teachers.

We act as pillars holding the container and offer our strength and patience. The children are given the opportunity to be THE GENIE-US the writers of their collective destiny. We help them weave a new myth where they have self worth, courage and devotion to the earth and each other.

Each day with Inspire Kids looks differently, filled in with the nuance of the moment, the genius of the creative youth. The framework and the structure remains constant, as an anchor for our journey. As the guides we ask them specific questions to help them uncover their unique personal character. Through astrology and story channeling they begin to see the super human abilities they were born with.

We play with the charaters of The Inspirates story telling card game (created by Melissa Orion) to strengthen our ability to BE the writers of our collective story.

The INSPIRATES purpose is to remind everyone that their true treasure lives in their treasure chest!

With your support we will be able to bring A Streetcar Named Inspire out to new areas in the Rogue Valley spring of 2017.  We will be able to offer 'Crafternoons' (drop-in art after school clubs) to many more members of our community.

We will also be able to offer free programs in the public schools where we bring story telling and visual arts to a larger number of southern Oregon's youth.

The more support we recieve this winter the more awesome or spring and summer programs can be!
