The goal of this IOS/Android App is to give High School Age Soccer players the most thorough information-based tool to hit the market to date. With your help, this first-of-its-kind platform will revolutionize the way young players live out their college soccer dreams.

In the 20 years that I have been coaching (youth, elite, college), I've successfully helped many of my kids get scholarships. However, I've seen MANY quality players get overlooked because they weren’t on a ranked team and didn’t know how to navigate the recruitment process. I've also seen lower quality players get scholarships simply because they received guidance on the process or had an "in".

The top 1% of high school age soccer players in the country don't need any help being recruited to play in college.  College coaches already know who they are and will make the effort to see them play and recruit them. This is because their teams play in the best showcase tournaments and their club or coach invites recruiters to see them. This system gives recruiters access to a small handful of top players.

But what about all the other excellent players on less prestigious teams?

Who is helping them? Some of the best clubs and coaches in the country are primarily focused on their own club, team, and competition and less on proactively helping players find a suitable college and soccer program that matches their skills and interests. This often leaves players and parents to navigate the process themselves -- and many of them don't know where to start. 

So, I've spent the last four years building an online program (www.cspathway.com) that provides guidance and helps the majority of clubs, coaches, parents, and players address this problem. In the development of CSPathway, I have found one tool to be especially effective in helping families find the right school and soccer program based on specific preferences, soccer ability, other needs and goals.

 The College Soccer Pathway (CSP) Map:

The CSP Map (iPhone and Android compatible) is an interactive app that allows you to sort through every college soccer program in the country through filters such as conference, division, school size, location, and more.   Want to go to a big school with a nationally recognized athletic program?  Do you have specific budget requirements? Interested only in colleges with smaller class sizes? Looking for schools near the beach, or close to your home town? The CSP Map has all of the useful and discriminating information you need to find the right school and then get ahead of the recruiting process.  The CSP Map database includes school division, conference ranking, team record, coach contact information as well as a breakdown of team details such as the number of players in each class and what positions they play.  Is the school about to graduate three defenders, their best offensive player, or a goalie? Can you fill that position?  The app also provides access to academic admission info/gpa, prominent majors, tuition, school size, and other crucial information players need to match their skills with the right team and school.

Plus, the CSP Map has taken it a step further. To be recruited, it really helps for the coaches to see you play. The database includes information on ~2000 college and private ID Camps, along with the dates, cost, location, and registration details. It has more information about major showcase tournaments like Disney, Jeff Cup, CASL, Surf Cup, ECNL, Girls GA, and state, regional and national tournaments.
